On speaking to friends and family, who I had recommended Katie to, I noticed the method she had given to each of us had been different. This cemented for me, that Katie really knew what she was doing, as she wasn’t simply using the same format for each child, she was taking the time to understand their needs and therefore suggest the best approach for them.

"Katie Palmer has expertly guided us through all stages of infant and toddler sleep, helping us understand our daughter’s natural sleep rhythms and our own parenting dynamics as a couple, in order to gently help everyone sleep through the night by establishing a wonderful bedtime routine, with attention to nap frequency & duration, meal times, bath time, and wake up times. Our daughter has happily slept 10 hrs solidly each night in her own cot in her own room since she was 18 months old. Now 3 and a half, Katie is still there for us, helping manage a transition away from naps, and into a proper bed, among other things. "We contacted Katie after transitioning our son to a toddler bed resulting in us being woken several times a night, leaving us very sleep deprived. We knew our son had slept through the night before and didn't need us to fall asleep so we couldn't work out what was happening. Katie taught us a lot about children's sleep and diagnosed the challenge with our sons night time behaviour very quickly; you could tell Katie had a lot of experience.
She gave us a clear plan and supported us with implementing it even over the festive period. Everyone in the house is now sleeping a lot better and our normal life has resumed, thankfully!

"Katie has been so so helpful with helping my 2 children sleep well. She has helped in so many ways but importantly gave me the confidence to try a different approach and build good sleep habits from an early age - e.g. putting my children in their cot awake from an early age. My 3 year old has always been a great sleeper, and I thank Katie for this and my 2nd was having cot naps after only sleeping on me literally the day after my consultation with Katie. "We had Katie come and stay the night and supply 10 days support for our 9 month old son who associated being breast fed with sleep and would not sleep longer than an hour unaccompanied.
Within 3 days of Katie's services we had him sleeping in his room from 7pm - 7am and had dropped a night feed altogether.

"Katie saved our sleep! We hired Katie when our little one was 7 weeks old… we were totally sleep deprived and he was overtired all the time. As first time parents we didn’t really know what we were doing… we struggled to settle him for independent sleep and he would hardly ever nap. Katie changed all of that… she stayed with us for 24 hours and taught us all about good sleep habits. Day and night, Katie showed us how to get him to sleep at the right times and in the right way… and it was remarkable to see it work! We quickly understood the right techniques to apply in order to settle him and get him to sleep independently (which continue to work). He slept a 7 hour stretch while Katie was with us, which is something he had never done before! We had an evening for the first time since he was born and managed to eat our dinner in peace! Before leaving, Katie implemented a straightforward sleep schedule for him, and was on hand a couple of months later when we needed to make some adjustments. I’m sure we will continue to use Katie as and when needed. Do not hesitate to hire her - she has many years of experience to share. You won’t regret it!"

"I worked with Katie in a desperate attempt to get my four year-old sleeping independently. He had been a dream sleeper until age two, so we knew he could do it, but a few nights of bed-sharing somehow turned into two years. With the arrival of another baby and our evenings disappearing into cuddling him to sleep, we finally decided to get help after a friend recommended Katie - albeit for a baby so we were naturally sceptical.
We thought we knew what needed to be done and were mainly looking for accountability, but we were completely wrong. Katie was armed with so much insight and expertise we simply didn’t have. She gave us the tools, confidence and reassurance to help our son sleep independently, and what we feared would be a horrendous ordeal turned out to be surprisingly straightforward when using the right approach.
It took two nights of protesting, a week of night wakes and early mornings, and since then he’s been sleeping 7–7. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone needing sleep support with their little ones."
