Experience
I’m Katie Palmer — a specialist child sleep consultant with over 25 years of experience helping families find their way to restful nights and happier days.
My approach is rooted in the latest sleep science and child development research, but always delivered with warmth, humour, and genuine care for the whole family. I’ve worked with thousands of families across every stage — from newborn fog to school-age sleep anxiety — and I also work as a sleep practitioner with the NHS and CAMHS.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I believe in understanding your child, your family, and your life.

Why Katie's approach works differently
Most sleep consultants offer a method. Katie offers a relationship with your child's sleep - one built on an understanding of why children sleep the way they do, not just how to change it.
With over 25 years of practice and a commitment to research, she adapts the most current evidence to your unique situation. This isn't about finding the "right" method - its about finding what's right for your family.
Katie works with both parents equally. When both parents are supported together, change happens faster and lasts longer.
FOR EVERY FAMILY
This isn't just about your child's sleep - it's about yours too.
Every family I work with is unique. Single parents, blended families, same-sex parents, families navigating additional needs - I bring the same warmth, expertise, and non-judgement to every situation
Because a rested child matters. And so do you.
Research-led foundations
Every recommendation I make draws on current sleep science. I translate the complex into warm, practical guidance your family can actually use.
